Start CHAIRS in Your Area
Saturday, April 4th, 2009
If you’d like to turn your already existing critique group into a CHAIRS group…
OR
If you’d like to start a brand new CHAIRS group in your area,
It’s as easy as A-B-C!
A. Send Nancy I. Sanders, the founder of CHAIRS, an e-mail at jeffandnancys@gmail.com and I’ll provide tips on how you can get started.
B. Choose the way you want to structure your meeting. You can copy our schedule with one hour for a devotion/market news/beginning tips, one hour for a guest speaker, and one hour for manuscript critiques. Or, you can structure your meeting to best suit your own interests and needs.
C. Get connected with CHAIRS.
*You can create a website or blog and we’ll add a link to it from this website so authors in your area can find you.
*You can order a Welcome Pack for each member of your group so everyone can feel officially involved.
*You can participate in our annual events that are hosted here on this site including the Book In a Month Club each March and the Periodical Challenge each October.
Pray about it! Perhaps God wants you to form a CHAIRS in your own neighborhood, too!
